On April 23, 1910, set behind the backdrop of Paris, France, former President, Theodore Roosevelt, gave a speech that reverberated around the world.
In front of 2000 people from all walks of life, Roosevelt said these words:
"It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions; who spends himself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows, in the end, the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat."
It’s easy to criticize , much more hard to be in the arena and do the things.
In 2023 I would like to translate it in a more simple way
It is so easy to consume. Much more difficult to create.
It is easy to scroll endlessly online, much harder to develop and publish a transformative piece of content of your own ideas.
This was true in 1910 as it is today.

Create more thoughtful reviews.

Create what inspires you,
Create what intrigues you.

Here are 12 tips to make the switch from a consumer to a creator:
1- Set a Daily “Make Something” Goal-l Grab a sticky note and write “make something today"--stick it to your computer monitor or the table you work
Put a simple goal to make something--anything—
And every single day.
Set the bar low and make it achievable.
And you see the habit of creating something becomes a part of you and the compounding rewards you the results you didn’t even expect.
2-Document-Document your journey and it is the easiest way to create something.
Let me share an incident with you
I had a call with a lead the other day and he asked me a question and I thought if it, answered hm in a lucid way
Later I reflected and documented that conversation
And I wrote a mini essay.
It has become one of the best contents I created
If you start documenting your journey
The process of creation is damn easier than you think
3- Remove the guesswork. Most people go blank when they sit at their computer. It happened with me too often I sit down at my computer and wonder what I should work on. That’s dangerous.
Decide what you are going to do beforehand. Write a to do list beforehand then do the research if you need, and go all in all with the flow.
4- Separate Creation & Consumption-I will share my secret with you now. All my mornings are for creation. I am not actively engaging social media or reading blogs or books in the morning all I do is creating something

And my evenings I am fully in to consuming
So, separate your Time for creating and consuming
5- Know Who You Serve- If you try to create for everyone you’ll quickly run out of both ideas and motivation. Instead figure out exactly who you are serving. Identify your audience and niche. Develop an understanding of your "customer" and what they need. The ideas will flow. But don’t too much worry about it, on the way you can figure it out. Let not that confusion stop you from creating.
6- Teach What You Just Learned-Don’t get overwhelmed by the thought teaching everything you know, It can be intimidating, Sit at your desk in the happy mornings of Sunday Just write what did you learn in the past week look back and share From the conversation, book you read, or the experience you had or anything that you went through And you can see a an amazing flow that makes you fly.
7- Start Journaling – I started journaling since 2020 and it helped me a lot in creating content and the habit of writing. Here are my Morning Journaling Prompts: It will make your journaling -content creation more easier.
8- Learn to create every day- Don’t stress yourself by lifting the heavy weight on the day you start at gym.

Blogs scaled
It’s so easy if you learn to do it every day.
9- Block Distractions-Sign out of all your social media, email and if possible, disconnect the internet when you are creating something. Lock yourself in a place If you are not able to do it just Block Troublesome sites The Self Control app for OSX will block a series of sites for a set amount of time.
10-Know Your Outcome-Don’t just create for the sake of creating. Work towards something. For example, I started writing this newsletter with a goal of getting10000 subscribers. Have a specific goal to chip away at.
Vision keeps you on track!
11-Create a Deadline- Most of the creators are self-employed and their biggest setback is they don’t have a Bose and a dead line so they fail miserably. Know that It’s not a real goal without a deadline. Set your launch date in advance I have committed to send a 1000 words email on every Saturday morning first hour and no matter what I should complete it by Friday night Put some skin in the game. Make sure you feel the pain if you miss your goal!
12-Go Public, make it a public challenge. Do you want to write an e-book? Go and write an amazing post about the value of your e-book coming on ------Put a date -------- Book calls with interested people and collect their mail id promise them the delivery Now you have to keep your words No one asked for it? Don’t be disappointed. Publish it on the day you announced.
